Changing the lives of tea farmers in western China

A small group of Concordia students is engaged in a transformative partnership with rural tea farmers in Yunnan province. The students buy organic pu'er and black tea in a direct source arrangement with farmers from Xiaohusai village and then package and sell the tea in Shanghai, with all profits supporting educational scholarships for the poorest children in the community. These amazing young Concordians aren't doing this for a class or for a club. They are running this project completely on their own time and because they care deeply about making our world a better place. Check out this video to learn about this stellar project.
